Detailed Itinerary
Begin your journey from Ahmedabad towards the sacred city of Dwarka, one of the most revered Char Dham pilgrimage sites. En route, visit the Narana Marine National Park near Jamnagar — India’s first marine sanctuary known for its rich biodiversity and unique coastal ecosystem. Spot fascinating species of waders such as Oystercatchers, Crab-plovers, Shanks, Stints, and Bar-tailed Godwits along the shoreline. Continue your drive to visit the famous Bala Hanuman Temple in Jamnagar, located on the southeastern side of Ranmal Lake. This temple holds a Guinness World Record for the continuous chanting of “Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram” since 1964. Later in the evening, arrive at Dwarka, check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax overnight.
Early in the morning, attend the divine Mangla Aarti at the Dwarkadhish Temple and seek blessings of Lord Krishna. After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour covering Bet Dwarka, believed to be the original abode of Lord Krishna, and the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the twelve self-manifested Jyotirlingas in India. Visit Gopi Talav, where the Gopis are said to have reunited with Lord Krishna, followed by Rukmini Devi Temple, dedicated to his consort. In the evening, spend serene moments at Gomati Ghat and walk across the Sudama Setu, feeling the divine aura of this holy land. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and head toward Somnath. En route, stop at Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit Kirti Mandir, the ancestral house of Gandhiji, now a museum showcasing his life and legacy. Also, visit the Sudama Temple, built in honor of the friendship between Lord Krishna and Sudama. Continue your journey to Somnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and in the evening, attend the sacred Aarti at the Somnath Temple followed by the captivating Laser Light & Sound Show (subject to availability). Dinner and overnight stay at Somnath.
After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Ahmedabad. En route, visit Bhalka Tirth, the holy site where Lord Krishna is believed to have departed for his heavenly abode. Continue your drive towards Ahmedabad, arriving by evening with beautiful memories of your spiritual and scenic Gujarat journey.
